MARCH MADNESS

With March Madness being cancelled, we know that many of you are missing out on one of your favorite sporting events of the year. With that in mind, we’re forging ahead with our 5th annual online Eat 16 Tournament (so that pizza fanatics have something to feel passionate about that is NOT hand washing or toilet paper rations!)

All the buzzer-beaters, Cinderella stories, and pandemonium you look forward to every year begins Monday, March 16. Which pie will rise to the top when our most popular pizzas go crust-to-crust in a series of vote-driven competitions? We have no idea. But here’s how we’ll find out:

1.) We’ll post a match-up every weekday at 10am on our Facebook page.

2.) Fans will vote for their favorite pizza in the comments.

3.) Voting will close at 8pm. We’ll tally up the votes, announce the winning pizza, AND award a $25 gift card to a follower chosen at random from the winning comments. That’s 15 chances to win over the course of the tournament!

So, review this years bracket, make your predictions, and then, go wash your hands!

2017 TEACHER APIZZIATION AWARDS

Schools have always been a big part of Hideaway's history, and any good classroom relies on a great teacher! For a second year, Hideaway Pizza will recognize outstanding teachers in the communities it serves with FREE PIZZA FOR A YEAR!

Twelve current Pre-K-12 public and private school teachers from Oklahoma and Arkansas will be selected to win a $600 Hideaway Pizza gift card to use however they choose, plenty of dough to buy a small, single-topping pizza every week for a year.

We need YOUR help to find those teachers, though. To nominate a current teacher, from Arkansas or Oklahoma, just fill out the following online form and tell us what makes them the greatest: NOMINATE YOUR TEACHER

Nominations will be accepted online through midnight on Sunday, Jan. 29. Winners will be notified the week of Feb. 6.

“Hideaway celebrates groups and individuals who use creativity to elevate education and culture, and teachers are on the front lines every day in these crucial areas,” Hideaway Pizza Co-Owner Brett Murphy said. “Our teachers work selflessly and tirelessly, and deserve respect and admiration for their commitment. This is our small way of showing gratitude, and an opportunity for the public to share their stories about the amazing women and men making a difference in their communities.”
